It’s Monday morning after the Eagles shut out the Giants, I’m waiting for my PT appointment and decide to check my email. Oh, tests results are back from my most recent round of tests for Dr. Woltering… I’ll just take a quick look. BAD DECISION. It’s kind of hard to interact with a new physical therapist (my normal one was out for training) after having the wind knocked out. My Chromogranin A level is no longer in the normal range. It has been slowly creeping up, but normal is normal until it’s not, and then we have to look at the trend and not an isolated test. It could be a fluke – my other tests were mostly normal. Logically I can explain things away and I know this one test isn’t cause for great concern, but that doesn’t help me not feel like I had been sucker punched. And I had finally gotten over my anxiety of waiting for test results…………..
On the bright side, maybe NIH will let me into their GA-68 trial now.
